Cisco VPN 442 failed to enable virtual adapter error for windows 7 64 bit

If you are a victim of Cisco VPN 442 failed to enable virtual adapter error, here is the solution.

Method :1

Open Network Sharing Center and navigate to Change adapter settings.
Right click on Local Area Connection which is used to connecting to internet
Click Sharing and unselect Allow other network users to connect through this computers internet connection.


Now  you can use Cisco VPN Client without issues.

Method :2

Open registry by using regedit command
And navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Current controlset\Services\CVirtA
Click the display name and modify it as Cisco Systems VPN Adapter for 64 - bit Windows.

Now the VPN Client will start to work normally.
