Now Google introduces free SMS which you can send from your Gmail account to mobile.
1.Login to your Gmail Account.
2.On the Chat search box which is below your status indicator type the number to which you want to send free SMS.
3.Now click Send option.
4.A new small screen will appear which will prompt you to enter the contact name, and country of the phone number belongs and save it.
5.Now as a normal chat you will get the chat box on the right corner side where you can type and send free SMS.
6.The contact will also be listed on the chat list which will give you a easy (click contact name and type message and hit enter) future access.
You are allowed to send only 50 SMS. And to send a SMS the count (1) will be reduced from 50 to 0. Once you reached 0 you cant send SMS untill 24hours. After 24 hours you will be given 1point again. By receiving an SMS or from a reply will increase 5 points to your count. For more details you can check Google's detail page here.
